Is it really odorless — or just "low odor"?
Genuinely odorless. The smell in traditional polish comes from volatile solvents — acetates, toluene — that off-gas into the air. Polisheen replaces the solvent with water. Water doesn't off-gas. There's nothing to smell. Structurally different from every "natural" or "7-free" brand you've tried before.
I'm extremely scent-sensitive. Will I still react?
If your sensitivity is to chemical fumes specifically, the water-based formula addresses the root cause — no solvents exist. Polisheen is also fully fragrance-free. We recommend starting with a single pen if you'd like to test before committing to a full set.
How is it different from gel, dip, or press-ons?
Gel and dip contain acrylates — a common migraine trigger during application and UV curing. Press-ons use adhesive glue, which also bothers some. Polisheen has none of these. No UV lamp. No acrylates. No glue. Apply and let dry — takes about 60 seconds per coat.
What's included in a set?
Every set — whether pre-made or custom — includes 5 colour pens of your choice, 1 Polisheen Base Coat pen, and 1 Polisheen Top Coat pen. That's everything needed for a complete, long-lasting manicure at home.
How do I remove Polisheen?
Standard acetone or non-acetone nail polish remover works fine. Because the formula is water-based, removal is generally quicker and easier than traditional polish. Many customers find it peels cleanly after 7–10 days without needing remover at all.
